Nini advises and litigates on a variety of intellectual property matters, including trademark, tradename, design right and copyright issues for clients ranging from household name international blue-chips to domestic start-ups. She also advises clients on domain name disputes, and licensing and distribution agreements. Nini has obtained experience in a wide variety of industries, including media and entertainment, where she has picked up valuable niche expertise in music publishing and collective rights in the course of advising vloggers and musicians on protecting their intellectual property.

Where Nini is concerned the more challenging the work, the more she enjoys it. Never happier than when researching complex points of law and coordinating responses from external counsel in different jurisdictions, she has already gained experience at the heart of big-ticket international trademark litigation. At the same time, however, she never loses sight of the fact that the law is a people profession. Nini first became interested in intellectual property on an internship in Vietnam, were she met young entrepreneurs who were setting up technology startups and needed help to protect their rights. The chance to work with creative people, sharing their energy and helping to shape their raw ideas into viable businesses, remains a major motivation for her.

Before joining Leeway, Nini worked at the Amsterdam office of US law firm Greenberg Traurig, where she took part in a number of international asset and share transactions, advising on the transfer of intellectual property rights.
